Aristocrat was incorporated and registered as a Limited Liability Company (Ltd) of British Columbia, Canada in 1972. Its primary business was Burglary, Fire. and Lock Security. Head office, located in Kamloops, had its western border of influence measured from the University of British Columbia, Vancouver, to its eastern border of Revelstoke. Its northern border was as far as Prince George with its southern border reaching to Penticton.
Aristocrat brought the first computerized Underwriter’s Laboratories of Canada Listed Fire and Burglary Grade AA Central Station (Monitoring) equipment west of Toronto, Ontario. Insurance companies placed policies that otherwise were forbidden. Engineering firms specified this equipment for Government, School Districts, Manufacturing, Industry, retail business, and private residence. Sixteen years later, it became the vested interest of Chub, Canada. The merger took place in 1988 and finalized in 1989. Chubb maintained its local offices out of the same building in Kamloops, B.C.
After the merger in 1988, Aristocrat became a non-active company holding its building as principle asset until 2006. In 2006, the building was released to Akimbo Dance Studio. The building is currently recognized as the neatest building in Kamloops. It is located on Lansdowne Street across from the arena. Take a drive by and you will know what I mean. It is unique to this young entrepreneur, who is now one of the leading dance instructors in Canada with students around the world.
In 2006, Aristocrat changed its name to, Aristocrat Assisted Learning, Inc. Currently working out of an office and study area, it boasts of some two hundred books, magazines, and articles written by professional scholars, academics, and technical personnel. The President of this established business, is committed to helping others succeed with reading and research. His training in Living Systems has placed him alongside the teaching of many leading scientists of this century.
